Meet the Chef
The Story
Chef Taylor grew up surrounded by food — weekend farmers markets, family dinners that stretched late into the evening, and a deep curiosity about where ingredients come from and how they come together. That early love of the table became a calling.
After years of professional kitchen experience, Taylor made a deliberate choice: to bring that same level of craft and intention directly into people's homes. Taylor's Kitchen Co. was born from the belief that extraordinary dining doesn't require a reservation — it just requires the right chef.
Based in the Cle Elum and Suncadia area, Taylor serves guests across the beautiful Kittitas Valley — from intimate anniversary dinners to lively cooking classes for vacation groups. Every experience is personal, seasonal, and crafted with genuine care.
In the Kitchen
Taylor's cooking is rooted in classical technique but guided by instinct and the seasons. House-made stocks, hand-rolled pasta, scratch-built sauces — the kind of work that rarely gets seen but always gets tasted.
Whether it's a five-course tasting menu or a hands-on cooking class, every dish is an opportunity to share something genuine. Taylor believes the best meals are the ones that feel effortless to the guest — even when they weren't.
What Drives the Work
Every menu starts at the farmers market. Taylor sources from local Pacific Northwest farms, ranches, and waters — choosing ingredients at their absolute peak.
No two dinners are the same. Taylor takes time to understand your guests, your occasion, and your vision before a single dish is planned.
House-made stocks, hand-rolled pasta, scratch desserts. The extra effort is always worth it — and your guests will taste the difference.
"The best ingredient is always the one in season."
